Romantic Rome

I’ve been lucky enough to have visited Rome a couple of times – once for a romantic weekend away and then for a weekend getaway with friends. It’s such an astonishing city – wherever you look, you see sights that will truly take your breath away. Both times, I’ve had such a fabulous time there. There really is so much to see and do and what’s even better, you can visit most of the sights without having to pay a

A Few Days In Amazing Krakow

We took a Jet2 city break to the amazing city of Krakow, nestled in the South of Poland, close to the Czech border. We have visited Krakow numerous times before. Beautiful Lake Como and Maggiore

We’d been looking to take our first overseas coach holiday, and after pouring over all the  brochures from Tate’s Travel we finally decided to go to Lake Como and Lake Maggiore in Italy – and boy, we were so glad we did! We picked a 7-day tour, travelling right from Park Lane, Sunderland, all the way to northern Italy! After a hop over the English Channel and a jaunt through the beautiful French countryside, we stopped off overnight in France.
